SCOPE
This project was not just a simple upgrade. It combined multiple Timber Mills within the area and their plant, then relocated it all to the Greenbushes Timber Mill to provide a complete package of greenwood processing and dry wood processing and jointing machines.
All new equipment brought to the Mill had to be inspected, tested, and upgraded to ensure it was compliant with all Australia Standards and, most importantly, was safe to use. Auldec provided a complete upgrade of this Mill from new mains to sub mains, building new MCC’s and Distribution Boards, upgrading operator cockpits and controllers, installing extraction fan systems and implementing system-wide safety devices.
AULDEC did not just provide any skill for this project. With Ben Aulds heavy background in Timer Mill’s and their operation, AULDEC provided management and resources skills to ensure this project was set up for success.
