SCOPE
AULDEC Solutions provided Project Management, Experience and Skillset in refurbishing and upgrading 4 existing Trackside Switchrooms between Epping and Macquarie Park.
AULDEC completed this scope of works within a tight network outage timeframe staged of 12 months. Within this time frame, Auldec completed the upgrade of the 750V to a 1500V DC protection and inter-trip systems, and both offsite installation of the 33kV HV equipment in Newcastle and the onsite integration of the new HV Substation installed above Chatswood existing building.
AULDEC then also played a key role in assisting NRT with 24-hour resource assistance in the commissioning and integration of the systems to make the project what it is today;
Australia’s first fully automated railway.
